Missing Tooth

Story Plot Two tooth fairies infiltrate a locked orphanage on a routine mission to exchange children's baby teeth for coins. While executing their assignment, they discover a name on their checklist—Lily—that can never be marked off. Their investigation uncovers a dark secret: the orphanage is a front for child trafficking, where buyers demand a strict quality control check requiring fully intact, flawless baby teeth. To save Lily from the next shipment, the two fairies must work together to extract her loose tooth, making her "defective" and unmarketable to the buyers.

Design (Art Direction & UI)

• Visual Style: 2D Pixel Art (32x32) for standard top-down gameplay, blended with high-quality custom assets for zoom-in interactive puzzles and story cutscenes.
• Camera Perspective: Top-down view during exploration and movement; side/top-down zoom for interactive puzzles (padlocks, computers, and archive documents).
• Primary UI: Tooth Fairy Document button (task list and paper clip inventory), Glow Control toggle (On/Off), narrative dialogue panel, and note-taking pencil tool.

Gameplay Mechanics

• Asymmetrical Co-op & Information Split: Two players are physically separated and given different visual information (one on upper floors, one below). They must rely on verbal voice chat or telepathy mechanics to share cross-clues and solve codes.
• Stealth & Light System: Players can toggle off their natural body glow to hide in dark areas at the cost of limited visibility. Getting caught in the patrol light of Nanny’s lantern triggers an instant Game Over.
• Multi-Phase Puzzles: Multi-layered puzzles including window lockpicking, cross-floor padlock codes (attic to basement via CCTV and vents), spatial pattern puzzles (fireplace, battleship grid, piggy bank), and birthdate decryption to unlock the secret room.
• Dual Mini-Game Climax: Synchronized finale featuring a Rhythm Mini-game (singing a lullaby to keep the child quiet) combined with a Precision Mini-game (timing the tooth extraction and coin placement)
